The decision to shut the MVEH Main Market was taken by the mayor of KUMBO Council, Dr MBORONG VENACIUS
The decision, according to a communiqué issued on September 15, but surfaced over the weekend, took effect from Friday, September 30.
Suspending activities at the market till further notice, the mayor indicated that the market had been transformed into the main source of income for separatists in KUMBO.
